Online poker players from New Jersey and Michigan have something to celebrate! The highly anticipated PokerStars 2024 USA SCOOP (Spring Championship of Online Poker) is scheduled to run from March 17 to April 3. This thrilling event guarantees a fantastic blend of entertainment, thrills, and substantial monetary rewards.

This will indeed be the biggest prize pool ever provided by PokerStars in the US market, making it the largest tournament series.

The 2024 edition of SCOOP is set to be remarkable and distinctive due to its groundbreaking feature: for the first time, PokerStars MI and NJ will share player pools. This exciting development is expected to result in larger player pools, enabling PokerStars to offer an impressive $3 million guaranteed prize pool over a span of three weeks.

Previously, SCOOP was offered individually in Pennsylvania, Michigan, and New Jersey. However, now Pennsylvania will be hosting its own exclusive PASCOOP series, guaranteeing a whopping $2 million.

Michigan, New Jersey combined USA SCOOP Series details

The PokerStars MI/NJ USA SCOOP series will showcase tournaments at different buy-in levels: Low, Medium, and High. Additionally, PokerStars is providing a total prize pool of $9,500 for the ‘Champion at Every Level’ leaderboards, which include all SCOOP events except satellites.

Severin Rasset, the Managing Director of PokerStars in the US, expressed his excitement in a press release about unveiling our biggest series guarantee ever to players in the country. He emphasized our dedication to inclusivity by carefully crafting a schedule with various buy-ins, ensuring accessibility for all players. Our ultimate goal is to offer everyone the chance to vie for the prestigious SCOOP trophy.

The main attraction of the PokerStars MI/NJ SCOOP series is undeniably the $300 Main Event, featuring an impressive guaranteed prize pool of $300,000. Mark your calendars for Sunday, April 2, as this is when the excitement will unfold.

Players from Michigan who are interested in online poker have two options to participate in the Main Event. They can either purchase a direct entry or try their luck by qualifying through a satellite tournament, which can be joined for as low as $1. Moreover, there are also $3 SCOOP Spin & Go’s and freerolls available for players who have made a qualifying deposit.

Alongside the main attraction, both MI/NJ SCOOP and PASCOOP will feature 42 distinct trophy events, offering a wide range of buy-ins from $10 to $2,500 for the low, middle, and high stakes. For those who find the $300 buy-in, $300K guaranteed Main Event too expensive, there is also the option of the $50 buy-in, $50K Mini Main Event.

If you prefer High Rollers, there is an opportunity for you to participate in the $125K Main Event with a $2,500 buy-in that is specifically tailored for you. Maybe you will even consider playing in all three events!

PokerStars is not only hosting an exciting event, but they are also organizing three separate PokerStars MI/NJ SCOOP Sunday Specials on March 19. These specials will have guarantees of $20K, $125K, and $100K.
