Michigan Casinos Offering Mother’s Day Buffet And Brunch Specials, Gaming Promotions

In case you haven’t been paying attention, Mother’s Day is this Sunday.

It’s always a nice gesture to honor your mother, or even to get in the good graces of your mother-in-law.

Michigan’s retail casinos around the state will be offering up special promotions and dining options for Mother’s Day.

It’s definitely something to consider if you are still looking to make Mother’s Day plans.

Mother’s Day hot seats, dining specials at Little River

Little River Casino Resort is pulling out all the stops for Mother’s Day on Sunday.

They will be hosting Mother’s Day Slot Hot Seats from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. Hourly winners will be picked to take home a $500 Amazon Gift Package and $200 in River Credits.

Mother’s Day Table Game Hot Seats will also take place from 11:30 a.m. to 6:30 p.m. Lucky hourly winners will receive a $500 Amazon Gift Package along with $200 in free bets.

When it comes to dining the Big Lake Buffet will have a Mother’s Day buffet offer from 7 a.m. to 6 p.m. The breakfast buffet will be from 7-11 a.m. and be $18 for adults and $9 for children. Dinner buffet will run from noon-6 p.m. for $29 for adults and $15 for kids.

River Rock Sportsbook & Grill will have a Mother’s Day special from noon-9 p.m. for $19. You can get chicken piccata with mushroom risotto and fresh asparagus.

Multiple Mother’s Day dining specials at Four Winds

The Four Winds New Buffalo location will be busy with Mother’s Day dining options.

At the New Buffalo location, you can treat mom to a Mother’s Day Feature at Copper Rock Steakhouse.

The three course-dinner includes a choice of French onion soup or a house salad to compliment a filet mignon and crab stuffed shrimp with mashed potatoes and asparagus. Caramel and passion fruit entremets will be the dessert to cap it all off. Cost is $65 per person.

If that doesn’t quite pique your interest, there’s also a Mother’s Day Buffet at The Buffet in New Buffalo.

For $39 for adults and $19.50 for kids 4-12. Enjoy American, Italian, Mexican and Asian food stations. Plus, all-you-can-eat prime rib, sides, salads and desserts. You can also add a 1-pound crab leg cluster for $15.

Still not satisfied? The Kankakee Grille in New Buffalo also has a special Mother’s Day meal for $32.

Enjoy gulf shrimp, lump crab meat, zesty tomato sauce over linguine served with garlic bread and either a choice of soup or house salad. For dessert, a strawberry mousse dome.

Mother’s Day buffet and special dinner options at Island Resort

Island Resort & Casino will have a couple of dining options on Mother’s Day.

The first is a Mother’s Day Buffet at Firekeeper’s Restaurant from noon-4 p.m. ET. Cost will be $23 and reservations are being accepted now at 906-723-2081.

Included in the buffet are:

• Chef Carved Tri-Tip
• Dijon Cream Pork Loin
• Lemon Dill Cod
• Mashed Potatoes with Gravy
• Cheesy Potato Casserole
• Garlic Cheddar Biscuits

• Crab Cakes for just $14 with roasted corn salad and blood orange hollandaise.
• Prime Rib for $36 with garlic mashed potatoes and garlic asparagus.

Slot tournament at Turtle Creek, Leelanau Sands

Turtle Creek Casino & Hotel, as well as Leelanau Sands Casino & Lodge will be hosting a Mother’s Day Slot Tournament on Sunday.

The tournament will run from 1-5 p.m. Each location will have 20 winners.

• 1st Place: $500 cash & $500 E-Credits
• 2nd Place: $500 cash & $250 E-Credits
• 3rd Place: $250 cash & $250 E-Credits
• 4th-10th Place: $250 cash
• 11th-20th Place: $100 cash

Leelanau Sands will be putting on a Mother’s Day Brunch at Big Dex’s from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Sunday.

At Turtle Creek, Bourbons 72 will be hosting Mother’s Day dinner from 5-9 p.m. Cost will be $65 per person and will offer a special pan-seared Salmon Oscar entrée with dessert and salad.

Mother’s Day Prize Board at Northern Waters

Northern Waters Casino Resort will have a special Mother’s Day Prize Board on Sunday.

From 10 a.m. to 6 p.m., earn 60 points and print your voucher at a Superior Club kiosk. You will then get to choose an envelope from the prize board.

You can win free play, $500 in cash or a pair of tickets to the Hodag Country Festival in July. The tickets cover the 9-day event in Rhinelander, Wis. on July 1-9.

There will also be a Mother’s Day dinner from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. at Sugar Bush Restaurant. Cost will be $17.99. You will have your choice of entrée between butter herb roasted pork loin or fried chicken.

Mother’s Day Bonus Games at Odawa Casinos

Odawa Casinos will be offering up Mother’s Day Bonus Games at both of their locations.

The first 300 guests at the Petoskey location and the first 150 guests at the Mackinaw City location to earn 100 base points will trigger a bonus game on their slot machine for a chance to win up to $50 in free slot play.
