Poker rewards from WSOP.com
Poker rewards at WSOP are based on a simple concept: When you play more, you earn more. Each hand that is either raked at a ring game or draws a free e from entering a tournament earns you either whole or fractional APPs. This occurs regardless of whether you win or lose.
You don’t need to do anything else in order to take part in this valuable rewards program at WSOP.com. Just as soon as you make some type of real money wager through playing in a poker game, you earn those APPs. We love that there is no additional hassle in taking part in the poker rewards program.
On the whole, just remember that when you contribute $1 via rake in poker, you receive two APPs. Whereas fractional APPs go down all the way to hundredths for not contributing that full $1.
Are you looking to move up in levels? WSOP assesses loyalty levels at the end of each calendar month for the preceding month.
WSOP loyalty levels
Making that jump to Bronze proves to be quite valuable. The reason is that APPs convert to valuable WSOP Points. These points prove to be important because you convert these into either rakeback or cashback. Moreover, remember the phrase the more you play, the more you earn? Well, just by moving up in loyalty levels, you earn bigger multipliers toward WSOP Points. Bigger multipliers mean bigger cashback into your account.
Below are the loyalty levels available at WSOP MI along with APPs required and multiplier:
- Player: 0 APPs with a 0x WSOP Point multiplier
- Bronze: 200+ APPs each month with a 4x WSOP Point multiplier
- Silver: 750+ APPs each month with a 10x WSOP Point multiplier
- Elite: 1,500+ APPs each month with a 12.5x WSOP Point multiplier
- Champions Club: 20,000+ APPs each year with a 16x WSOP Point multiplier
How to convert and redeem WSOP Points
You can convert and redeem WSOP Points by going to your “my profile” section in the poker client. Then, go to “my rewards” and finally, “convert.” The minimum for conversion is 1,000 points. Each set of 100 points is equivalent to $1 cashback.
Make sure to earn at least one point within each six-month period to keep your current points valid. Otherwise, WSOP considers you to have forfeited any available points. Our advice is to convert any points if you realize that you won’t be able to play so you don’t lose any redeemable rakeback.
Loyalty matching offer
It pays to play for sure. If you already play online at another online poker operator, WSOP will match your loyalty level there.
All you need is to email customer support with “comparable tier match request” in the subject and your name, contact info and your player ID along with some type of screenshot showing your loyalty status at another site.
Earn even more with Caesars Rewards
Another perk of playing on WSOP.com is you can earn online poker rewards and tier credits toward any hotel stay, entertainment option or fine dining at Caesars branded properties.

Software review
The good news is that WSOP Michigan employs the smooth, state-of-the-art Poker 8 platform. It’s the same client that was used by 888 poker outside the US, and also the one found over at WSOP Pennsylvania. For many years WSOP’s online sites in other states have continued to use an older, less impressive platform. But Michigan players get to enjoy the Poker 8 platform that has received consistently good reviews from players who have tried it.
The client has a much more modern look than the old WSOP platform did, featuring a cool, dark color scheme. The lobby is clearly designed and very easy to navigate. You’ll see links to choose between various game categories as well as bonuses and promotions. There’s a search bar with which you can can search for particular game types or tournaments. You can also quickly access your account details in your “personal area.”
Once you join a game you’ll find the software runs very smoothly with all the important information like your cards, stack sizes and betting amounts very clearly shown on screen. On the whole, the client rivals PokerStars MI’s high-quality software in both its look and functionality. Meanwhile like PokerStars MI, the WSOP MI client outclasses BetMGM Poker MI’s comparatively pedestrian design.
There are many customizable features and other bells and whistles that additionally enhance the WSOP MI player experience. Another big positive (and improvement over the old WSOP software) is that the Poker 8 platform enables both multi-flight and multi-day tournaments. That’s especially nice for those large tournaments such as the ones featured in WSOP Online Circuit series and WSOP bracelet events.
Poker games at WSOP MI
On a typical week, you will find a big enough player pool to see various formats of poker active. Obviously, this is dependent on the day and hour. For example, you may not see many tables or games active at 8 a.m. This is due to the player pool and traffic. Still, you may find an elusive game of stud or two running during peak hours.
The WSOP brand is definitely known for its tournaments, and this is really where the site shines. Sit-n-gos are also a good option and for a faster pace, we enjoyed the BLAST Poker games and also raked ring games.
Ring games
No surprises here: No limit hold ’em is going to be the most popular cash game. Yet, WSOP spreads limit and pot-limit hold ’em varieties as well. Omaha varieties are also available from pot limit to hi/lo. For the stud enthusiasts, this format is also available.
A word of caution, though: You may not find some of these lesser-known variants. When you do, these typically run at micro-stakes or very low stakes.
Tournaments
We chose to really highlight some no limit hold ’em tournaments based on the schedule plus guarantees.
- On a daily basis, look for both a $10,000 and $15,000 guarantee.
- On Thursdays, a $20,000 guarantee runs.
- On Saturdays, a $10,000 guarantee that doubles into $20,000 guaranteed one Saturday per month.
- On Sundays, look for a $50,000, $30,000 and $25,000 guarantee.
But you don’t need to just directly buy in to these tournaments if you don’t have the bankroll. WSOP will run many satellites, qualifiers, and freerolls in order for you to still participate.
Sit-n-gos and BLAST Poker
WSOP’s sit-n-gos are nothing to sneeze at. Again, the no-limit variety is going to run and fill the fastest due to its popularity, particularly during peak hours. But you can also choose from the Omaha varieties like pot-limit or hi/lo. However, these do tend to not run as frequently, so you may be waiting a while for the table to fill.
BLAST is WSOP’s form of a hyper turbo sit-n-go but with a jackpot twist. It takes four players to fill and then you get entered into a jackpot drawing. This drawing is important because it determines a multiplier that can range from double to 10,000 times your buy-in. Additionally, the multiplier determines the timer of the BLAST sit-n-go. Once the timer is up, all players are all-in until a winner is determined.
Banking options at WSOP
The beauty of playing at a legal online poker site is that you have ample methods for banking at WSOP.com, whether depositing or withdrawing your funds. Another advantage is that WSOP doesn’t assess any additional fees for your transactions. However, your payment processor may still assess a fee.
Here’s how to access your cashier and review or check out the banking methods:
- First, log in to the WSOP client via either your desktop or mobile platform.
- Next, navigate to the cashier.
- Review your banking methods and then select your preferred option.
- Enter in your desired amount for either depositing or withdrawing.
- Finally, you need to verify your personal details.
How to deposit
Choose from five available deposit methods:
- Casino cage
- E-check/ACH
- PayPal
- PayNearMe
- Visa, Mastercard or even Discover credit cards
Carefully evaluate each method because there are advantages and disadvantages to each.
For example, we highly recommend PayPal especially if you already own an account. We also recommend e-check/ACH, but there are slightly longer waiting periods of one to three business days after approval.
Heading to the casino cashier cage is also a great option if you are in the vicinity. However, if you need to make a cash deposit and aren’t located near the casino, just go to any local 7-Eleven or CVS for PayNearMe. Just deposit your cash and you will receive a scanned code for your deposit.
While major credit cards can be a great convenience, we don’t really recommend this option. It is nice to be able to easily enter your credit card details, but be aware that your transaction will likely be denied. This isn’t really WSOP’s fault; rather, most credit card purchaser agreements typically block transactions that are categorized as gambling.
How to cashout
First, there aren’t as many methods available for withdrawing compared with deposits, but it is still a very quick and convenient process.
- E-check/ACH
- PayPal
- Casino cashier cage
If this is your first time requesting a withdrawal, be aware that there will be some type of additional review and verification process. First, validate your payment method and then enter your account details along with the token number you received via email.
Withdrawals need to be a minimum of $10 for ACH/e-checks. Should you choose to go to the casino cashier cage, the withdrawal minimum there is $50. If WSOP requests anything further, send in and respond promptly within 14 days. Otherwise, the withdrawal request will be canceled and your funds returned to the poker account.
WSOP customer service
Any questions, issues, comments or further concerns are easily addressed through the WSOP customer service team. Customer service is readily available 24/7. You can choose the contact method that is most convenient to you:
- WSOP forums
- Help desk
- Phone
A fantastic aspect of WSOP MI’s customer service is that the support team operates only for people in Michigan. What this means is that the customer support agents will give you their full attention rather than splitting their focus on other players’ problems in other WSOP states.
Customer service was incredibly responsive and quick to resolve any issues we had.
History of WSOP
Currently, the WSOP brand is owned by Caesars Entertainment. Before 2010, Caesars was known as Harrah’s Entertainment. WSOP is known as the top poker operator in the US.
Currently, there is a shared player compact between WSOP NJ and WSOP NV. Delaware also is part of this shared player compact, although it operates on 888 Poker.
Yet there is ongoing litigation of the Wire Act which means there will likely not be a shared player pool in Pennsylvania as well as Michigan until and if the case is fully resolved.
