DraftKings faces a lawsuit from a resident of Michigan who alleges that his sports bet turned out unfavorably.

According to a report from The Detroit News, Ryan Cristman of Walled Lake has recently taken legal action against the betting operator. His lawyers filed a lawsuit on Wednesday, claiming that he should have received over $5,000 in winnings due to a glitch that allowed him to place a lucrative value bet.

According to Cristman’s lawyer, the lawsuit is anticipated to transform into a class-action suit and aims to secure damages exceeding $5 million, as reported by the News.

According to the lawsuit, Cristman placed a wager on February 10th through DraftKings Sportsbook. The bet was on the Boston Bruins, with a puck line of three goals against the New York Rangers.
