The annual end-of-summer holiday weekend signals the end of peak tourism season. Michigan casinos are wrapping up summer with cash giveaways, hot seats, live music and rewards point bonuses.

Here is a rundown of the Labor Day promotions out there this holiday weekend at Michigan casinos. (And if we see more, we’ll add to this list!)

$150K cash giveaway Sunday at Four Winds Casinos

The quartet of Four Winds Casinos locations are giving away $150,000 in cash to visitors on Sunday.

Forty-two W Club Players Club winners visiting either the Dowagiac, Hartford, New Buffalo or South Bend, Indiana, locations from noon-10 p.m. will win.

The drawings will proceed as follows:

• Four members will be selected to win $1,500 every two hours from 1 p.m. until 9 p.m. (That’s 20 winners.)
• Every two hours from noon until 8 p.m., four more will have a chance to win $5,000 (now at 40)
• Then at 10 p.m., two lucky W Club Players Club members will win $10,000 in cash (42 winners in all)

W Club Players Club members receive one free entry daily now through Sunday by visiting a promotional kiosk at any location. Additional entries can be earned by playing slots, table games or live poker with a card.

Three nights of live music at Four Winds New Buffalo

The Pool Bar at Four Winds Casino New Buffalo is featuring live music throughout the weekend.

• On Friday, CheckMark Sallie is playing from 5 p.m. until 8. Then, BBI Live is from 10 p.m.-1 a.m.
• On Saturday, Jason Paul is playing from 5 p.m. until 8. The Hipposonics are on from 10 p.m.-1 a.m.
• Then on Sunday, Mike Struwin is on from 1 p.m. until 4. Tim Velez performs from 5 p.m. until 8.

Banksy art exhibit starts Friday at Northern Waters

The works of one of the more notable artists of our time will be on display this weekend at Northern Waters Casino Resort in Watersmeet of the Upper Peninsula.

World-renowned Banksy ,of the United Kingdom, has remained anonymous but made a big impact with his street works over the years. His exhibit is titled “Banksy Takes a Break” (Because Even Artists Take a Vacation) and is free to the public.

The works will be on display for two months, as The Contemporary at Northern Waters Resort Art Gallery debuts at the resort.

There is a ceremony at 7 p.m. Central time Friday to kick off the exhibit, which runs through Nov. 1.

Labor Day Hot Seats at Island Resort Casino in Harris

Will you make the wise decision of being north of the Mackinac Bridge to visit Michigan casinos this Labor Day weekend?

Island Resort Casino in Harris has Labor Day Hot Seats from Saturday through Monday.

Random $100 Hot Seat drawings will take place from 10 a.m. until 10 p.m. each day.

As for entertainment, the band Risque is playing at Club 41 on Thursday through Saturday night.

FireKeepers Casino adding $500 poker bonus on Labor Day

FireKeepers Casino Hotel in Battle Creek has one of the busiest poker rooms in the state.

Starting at 9 a.m., players earn 7x on rewards points, while the Elite Member Bonus is for 10x points until 12:59 p.m.
