5 Michigan March Madness Betting Bonuses You May Have Missed

March Madness Betting

If you’re at all plugged into the sports world, you know the NCAA Tournament arrives this weekend. March Madness betting promos are bombarding you everywhere you look.

And that’s not a bad thing if you’re diving into action on the majority of the 67 games ahead.

We’ve written about some of the giant bracket contests and robust promotions available at Michigan online sportsbooks such as BetMGM, DraftKings, and FanDuel. But those are far from the only ways to try and take advantage of your hoops knowledge over the next few weeks.

William Hill focusing on NCAA futures

If your confidence lies in predicting the overall winner, William Hill sportsbook has a straightforward promotion that may suit you.

Place a futures bet of $10 or more on a tournament champ, and watch to see if it makes the Final Four. If so, you’ll get a free bet of 50% of your stake up to $50 (in other words, a $100 bet).

So take care to pick a regional winner in that promo in order to cash in down the line.

An NCAA bet a day with BetRivers

If volume is your jam, then look into enticing March Madness betting bonuses from BetRivers Michigan.

The sportsbook is offering a daily promotion from now through the April 5 national title game. The campaign began Monday. Examples of daily specials so far have been a 50% future free bet similar to that of William Hill and a one-time 68% profit boost.

Wager early, often for Fox Bet bonuses

Fox Bet is giving you chances before and during the NCAA Tournament to place free bets the next few weeks.

First, opt into the “challenges” window through the sportsbook’s app. Then place a $10 or more wager (single or parlay) with –200 minimum odds on an NBA or NCAA game by Wednesday. As a result, you’ll receive a $10 free bet for the First Four or any first-round game.

Then throughout the Big Dance, each day will provide a qualifying game for a rotating promotion. Fox Bet says it will usually be the first game of the day.

Place a $10 or more wager on that initial tipoff, and you’ll receive another $10 bet credit to use later in the day.

‘Let it Rip,’ then beg for a refund at PointsBet

PointsBet placed itself in the top five in handle in Michigan’s first full-month online sports wagering report this week. The Australia-based sportsbook has partnered with former Detroit Pistons guard Richard “Rip” Hamilton to ramp up the interest for hardcore basketball bettors this March.

Over the first two rounds Friday through Monday, cumulative cash wagers will be tallied. Free bets don’t count for this offer. The more bets you place, the more in free-bet cash you’ll get in return.

Wager $100 in that time frame, and you earn a $50 free bet. Place $500 in wagers, and you’ll earn $100. Wager $1,000 and that free-bet base rises to $200.

Ultimately, you can earn $1,999 in free bets (to celebrate Hamilton’s 1999 NCAA title with UConn), but be careful — that last threshold is a whopping $20,000 in bets.

In a separate offer, PointsBet is lending its Karma Kommittee services to regular March Madness bettors.

First, you must place 10 bets totaling $200 or more over the course of the tournament. Then, take a losing bet (up to $50) and email PointsBet with information on the bet you want refunded. Send that note to [email protected] from April 5-8.

There are some exceptions — you can’t appeal a boosted bet or a wager you cashed out. But place a qualifying “complaint,” and a free-bet refund is yours.
