Fox Bet Giving Michigan Bettors Cash After Spartans Or Wolverines Score

Written By Matt Schoch on March 4, 2021
After Michigan and Michigan State opens the scoring on Thursday night, all Fox Bet customers in Michigan could win.

Safe to say that a significant number of college basketball fans in this state are going to feel like losers on Thursday night.

But no matter which fan base is celebrating after No. 2 Michigan and Michigan State meet in Ann Arbor, Fox Bet customers who jump on this offer will be celebrating.

The sports betting platform is giving away (virtually) a free $10 with a bet for the key Big Ten tilt in the Double Your Money promo.

Several operators have done these types of promos to encourage loyalty in a crowded Michigan sports betting landscape.

How Double Your Money promo works

Whether its Hunter Dickinson scoring for the home team or Aaron Henry for the visitors, everyone who bets this market will win shortly after tip-off.

(Note: It could be any player scoring to trigger the win. Does Juwan Howard have eligibility left?)

Whenever the first point goes up on the Crisler Center scoreboard, for either team, everyone who bet the promo will win. There is a $10 maximum bet.

This isn’t just for new customers or first-time depositors either. It’s for everyone.

The offer expires after tip-off of the game, which is at 7 p.m. EST.

Meeting is first of two for Wolverines, Spartans

The teams will play again on Sunday in East Lansing.

For Michigan State, the season is on the line. A win against its top-five rivals could be the final straw to push the Spartans off the bubble and into the field of 68. Tom Izzo’s Spartans have made the NCAA Tournament field 22 straight times, which is among the current national leaders.

Michigan still has work to do to clinch the regular season Big Ten title. Howard’s team also has its sights on a No. 1 seed in the Big Dance.

But for one shining moment on Thursday night, bitter rivals can all be winners after the first bucket is scored.

Then, the real battle begins.
