Despite having multiple other choices, Michigan online sports bettors did not have the opportunity to wager on significant college basketball games, such as the clash between the University of Michigan and No. 4 Purdue, as Fox Bet failed to offer this option. Additionally, with the Super Bowl just a week away and the commencement of the 2024 Winter Olympics in Beijing, there are plenty of exciting sporting events to look forward to.
Despite being a well-known national brand and heavily advertised during Detroit Lions games on the network, Fox Bet has faced challenges in establishing a strong presence.
During the latest monthly report, Fox Bet ranked eighth among Michigan sportsbooks, with an online handle of slightly below $5.6 million. This amount falls over $20 million short compared to PointsBet Sportsbook MI, which secured the sixth position. Moreover, Fox Bet significantly lagged behind industry leaders like FanDuel Sportsbook MI, DraftKings Sportsbook MI, and BetMGM Michigan, who all surpassed $100 million in earnings for the month.
